The tool sends your image to a state-of-the-art AI vision model which analyses anatomical correctness, lighting, texture patterns, background coherence, and known AI-generation artifacts to determine if the image was created by an AI tool like Midjourney, DALL·E, or Stable Diffusion.

Accuracy depends on the image. On typical AI-generated images it is highly reliable. However, no detector is 100% accurate — heavily edited photos or high-quality AI art may occasionally be misclassified. Use the result as a strong signal, not absolute proof.

Each successful scan costs 25 credits. If the analysis fails for any reason, credits are not deducted.

No. Images are sent directly to the AI model in memory for analysis and are not saved or persisted on Mockly servers.

JPEG, PNG, WEBP, and GIF are supported. Maximum file size is 5 MB per scan.

You can browse this page freely, but you must be logged in to upload and analyze an image because the tool uses credits tied to your account.

A verdict of "AI-Generated" indicates strong signals of AI creation. "Likely Real" indicates the image appears to be a natural photograph. The confidence percentage tells you how certain the model is.

Not intentionally. Our model is designed to distinguish AI generation from ordinary photo editing (colour grading, brightness, contrast, filters, sharpening, resolution). However, heavy editing can occasionally be misclassified. When editing is detected, we mark the verdict as "Edited Photo" and warn you accordingly. Always treat the result as a probabilistic signal, not as absolute proof.
